I’m a proud conservative. I’m running as a conservative, I will vote as a conservative once in office, and I want you to hold me accountable as a conservative.

The unfortunate reality is that some elected Republicans have lost their way and have joined the Democrats in being the party of government and liberal policies. They may campaign as Republicans but, once in office, they vote like Democrats.

My Twelve-Point Conservative Contract with you will serve as my blueprint as a legislator, and demonstrates that as a conservative I won’t just talk the talk, I’ll walk the walk. I will be a fiscal and social conservative that you can depend on.

I pledge to you that I will fulfill this contract as your State Senator. Should I violate the terms of this contract, I am instructing you to vote me out of office.

My Conservative Contract With You

1. I will oppose all tax and fee increases, and will vote to roll back the 2007 Income Tax increase
2. I will vote to eliminate the Michigan Business Tax’s 22% Surcharge
3. I will vote to reduce government spending
4. I will vote to protect family farms I will maintain a 100% pro-life voting record
5. I will maintain a 100% pro-Second Amendment voting record
6. I will vote to protect traditional marriage
7. I will vote to increase government transparency and accountability
8. I will support existing term limit laws
9. I will vote to create a part-time legislature
10. I will raise a minimum of 80% of my campaign’s funding from within the 33rd District
11. I will vote to eliminate lifetime health care benefits for legislators and to dock their pay for any session days absent
